本年度は、科学研究費の支援を受け、メキシコ・ゲレロ州での現地フィールドワーク及びズームを用いた遠隔フィールドワークを通してトラパネク語アユトラ方言のデータを採取した。データは主にスペイン語からの翻訳に基づいたエリシテーションと、自然談話の分析である。エリシテーションでは主に動詞の自他交替と動詞の人称及びアスペクトによる活用形を採取した。また、自然談話の分析の際に現れた新しい動詞については、その活用形を採取した。アユトラ方言のデータはこれまでに殆ど報告されておらず、これらのデータはトラパネク語方言研究にとって重要となる。また、本プロジェクトで採取されたデータと、多方言について既に出版されたデータを比較することで、アユトラ方言はアカテペク方言に最も近いことが確認された。また、話者人口の減少が著しいとされるトラパネク語アソユ方言の調査を開始するため、コミュニティー訪問を行った。本方言については出版されたデータにも乏しく、今後はアソユコミュニティーでのフィールドワークを行うことで、本方言のデータを本格的に収集していきたい。成果物としては、現時点では雑誌論文1本がすでに出版され、もう1本が査読を経て掲載決定となっている。また、書籍の一章が提出済みであり、現在査読中である。研究発表については、学内研究会での発表を二本行った他、2023年6月にソウルで開催される国際学会での発表が決まっている。更に、12月にテキサス大学オースティン校で行われたAssociation of Linguistic Typologyにてメソアメリカ諸語言語学の授業をTony Woodbury 氏と Danny Law 氏とともに行った。また、11月にはトラパネク語が属するオトマンゲ諸語の専門家である中本舜氏に講演会を行っていただいた。
