The Vision of Conception of Living Area in the Japan Sea Rim Based on Exchanges of the People, Goods, and Information -Investigation at the Korean Peninsula-

1、本研究从历史的角度阐明了近代以后东北亚地区（中国东北地区/朝鲜半岛/俄罗斯远东地区）城市空间的形成。2、2003年，我们在朝鲜半岛的首尔市进行了调查。2003年8月至9月，我们与当地学术机构和相关研究课题执行机构的研究人员一起进行了实地调研。4、要理解东北亚地区城市空间的形成，首先要了解近代以来西方大国与日本权力博弈的舞台——城市空间的形成主体。5、因此，今年我们小组调查分析了俄罗斯帝国和日本在朝鲜半岛城市空间的形成过程以及主体的转变。6、我们以朝鲜半岛的首尔为研究对象，主要包括：(1)整个城市区域内城市区域的形成过程，(2)前外国殖民地空间建设的变化过程，(3)政治家和平民活动导致的城市规划，(4)历史建筑和城市机构的格局。7、以朝鲜半岛为中心，从人的居住、物的运动、信息的传递等角度，梳理了东北亚和日本海沿岸包括中华人民共和国、日本和俄罗斯联邦部分地区的城市空间形成过程。搜索了日本海边缘作为生活区的可能性和未来图像。今后韩半岛的走向将对日本海沿岸生活区的未来产生很大的影响。

1, This research clarifies the formation of urban spaces in terms of history after modern ages at northeast Asia(the northeastern region of China/the Korean peninsula/far eastern Russia). 2, In 2003, we investigated at Seoul city of the Korean peninsula. 3, From August to September of year 2003, we have done field research along with researchers from local academic facilities and executive agencies of related research topics with us. 4, To understand the formation of urban spaces at northeast Asia, it is important to understand the subject who formed urban spaces, the stage of power games between great powers of West and Japan, from early modern ages. 5, Therefore, this year, our groups have investigated and analyzed the formation process of urban spaces by the Russian Empire and Japan at the Korean peninsula along with transition of subject. 6, We mainly researched in Seoul of Korean peninsula over (1) the formation process of urban area in the whole city area, (2) the changing process of space construction in the former foreign settlements, (3) the city planning due to activities of statesmen and civilians, and (4) the pattern of historical architecture and city institutions. 7, From results earned, having the Korean peninsula in the center, formation process of urban spaces in northeast asia and the Japan Sea rim including the People's Republic of China, Japan and a part of the Russian Federation were clarified from a point of view of the residence of people, the movement of things, and the transmission of information. Possibilities and future images of the Japan Sea rim as a living area were searched. 8, The trend in the Korean peninsula from now will have a great influence on the future of living area of the Japan Sea rim.
