Information of data-base for this study are items of land subsidence related with observation well, simple subsidence meter, leveling, pumping well, weather, and ground water quality. These items are classified into the following three categories and the fundamental system of data-base was constructed by using Visual Basic. 1)Index information (data concerning observation position and parameter), 2)Fact information (various observation data) and 3)Retrieval software. Update of the observation data and the software which could examine the relationship between ground-water-level, land subsidence, pumpage and precipitation or show the distribution of the observation data on the map were developed. A contribution to the decision of groundwater level fluctuation for the management system of the land subsidence prevention became possible by using these correlations. In addition, an analysis corresponding to the situation of groundwater pumping (including abolishing groundwater pumping for water supply in shiroishi area) in Saga plain was performed using subsidence prediction system with quasi-three-dimensional seepage analysis considered cyclic consolidation caused by seasonal groundwater withdrawal.
