Digital Evidence International Incorporate (DEI) is a private investigating agency head quartered in London, Ontario. DEI has developed its own proprietary database called the Occurrence and Serious Crime Investigation Database (OSCID). The OSCID is marketed to corporate and police investigators for managing the entire investigative infrastructure and designed to compete against the records management systems currently used by Canadian and international police services.**DEI has collaborated with Lambton College's Information Technology & Communication Research Centre to implement artificial intelligence to data mine its own rich source of intelligence captured through the normal day to day operations of conducting an investigation with the goal of becoming world leader in intelligence lead investigations.**The proposed project team will include a faculty lead researcher, research graduate and research students who will work closely with the DEI team throughout the project. The results of this project will include increased revenue for the partner, job creation and a globally competitive new product for Canada.
