本年度は主として、以下の研究を実施した。(A)SD式作成支援ツールの開発と会話文データの収集会話文データを基にしたSD式作成作業は人手によるが、SD式モデルでは「意味記述の具体的な方法」については定めていない。従って作成者毎に異なった書き方をすることがあるがこのような不統一はなるべく回避した方がよい。そこで本年度は「SD式作成マニュアル」の完成を目指した。また、作成作業の効率化を目指してパーソナルコンピュータ上に「SD式作成支援ツール」構築した。これはSD式としての文型(陳述式と感情式)や、様相、時制、相情報等を統一的に作り易くする他、構文的な誤りを防ぐ効果がある。(B)会話文検索システムの改良前年度試作した検索システムには、日本護を入力キーとする検索モードを備えていなかった。本年度は制限された簡単な構文を持つ疑似的な日本語(単語としてはなるべく概念ラベルをそのまま用いるようにしている)をキーとして検索出来るモードを追加した。その他、SD式モデルの実験システムとして開発しているSDENVの高速化のための改良を行なった。主な改良点はProlgの中で一度評価した関数値を保存することやアルゴリズムの改良である。(C)物語SD式の理解モデルの作成会話は話題の流れのよって展開される。このような話題の流れのモデルを考える上で物語文の理解過程の枠組みを確立しておくことは重要である。また、特殊な物語文の例として、数学の「方程式の応用問題文」を考えることができる。本年度はこの2種の物語の枠組みを確立した。
