各研究班の相互連絡をはかりながら組織的に研究を推進する目的で作られたもので、A領域「エネルギーに関する社会的・経済的諸問題」の研究に関する研究連絡が主目的である。「エネルギー需要と政策の経済学的研究」と「エネルギーシステムの新らしい構成と運用」の2計画研究がある。研究日程の作成・計画の検討・研究推進等は種々の機会を利用して適宜行った。また公募研究2班に対してはエネルギーシステム班において対応した。成果報告会は2年2月1日京大会館において開催し、30名の参加者により報告に対して討論をおこなった。成果報告書は2分冊の形で作成し、関係者に配付した。
