摂食障害患者家族の評価尺度であるThe Accommodation and Enabling Scale for Eating Disorders(AESED) 及びThe Eating Disorders Symptom Impact Scale(EDSIS)の日本語版を作成し信頼性・妥当性を評価するため、まずは日本語への翻訳を行い、完了した。しかしバックトランスレーション以降までは進められておらず、その後の信頼性と妥当性の検証も完了できなかった。また、摂食障害患者家族の心理教育用DVDの日本語版を作成するために、出版元であるSuceed Foundationと連携し、新たに日本語版字幕を作成し、予定通りこれを完成させた。介入群には、これと既に翻訳されている書籍とを組み合わせた心理教育プログラムを実施する予定であったが、実施には至らなかった。しかし本研究によって作成された、心理教育用DVDは、具体的な対応の仕方を映像を用いたロールプレイで解説するという、これまでにない独創的なものであり完成度も高く、これを本邦でも一般に利用できるよう、研究中断後も進めていく方針である。利用が可能になれば、関係学会にて発表を行い、公的機関へも周知を図る予定である。
