家族や家庭生活に関する教育(以下、家族教育)に携わる実践者は、児童生徒など対象者のプライバシーを侵害してはならないという不安と常に直面している。研究代表者はこういった不安を「倫理的な指導不安」と名付け、問題を可視化してきた。家族教育は価値観や信念が絡むために、倫理的な問題を生じやすいということは米国で早くから指摘されている。そのような中でミネソタ家族関係学会(Minnesota Council on Family Relations : MNCFR)による「Ethical Thinking and Practice for Parent and Family Life Educators」(以下、「MNガイドライン」)は、家族教育に携わる人々の間で高く評価され、ミネソタ州のみならず全米規模で実践者や研究者の指針とされてきた。本研究はまず、米国ミネソタ州にて執筆者らを対象にMNガイドラインの作成・改訂経緯や目的などについて聞き取り調査を行った(2016年9月)。その結果、1998年の初版以来、時代の変化の反映や内容の精緻化を理由に2度の改訂を行ったこと、倫理的配慮の在り方をめぐっては文化的背景との関連を重視していることなどが明らかになった。本研究は当初、日本版ガイドラインを提案することを目的としていたが、米国における聞き取り調査結果などから、MNガイドラインへの深い理解が必要であると計画を改めるに至った。ミネソタ家族関係学会役員会(MNFCR Board of Directors)の協議の結果、2016年秋に改訂された最新のMNガイドラインの翻訳許可を得ることができた。これを受けて2017年3月、翻訳冊子「家族生活教育者のための倫理的な考え方と実践(原題 : Ethical Thinking and Practice for Parent and Family Life Educators)」を発行した。20年近くの歳月を重ねて発達・成熟したMNガイドラインは日本版ガイドライン作成の基礎となることが期待される。なお、翻訳冊子は関連学会等を通じて、家族教育や家庭科教育関係者に配布する。

When practicing education related to family and family life (hereinafter, family education), practitioners will always face the infringement of children and students, including the target person, uneasily and openly. The representative of the study was disturbed by the "ethical guidance" and the problem was visualized. Family education is a matter of faith and ethics. "Ethical Thinking and Practice for Parent and Family Life Educators"(hereinafter,"MNCFR") by the Minnesota Council on Family Relations (MNCFR) is a high-level review of family education, a well-developed state, a full-scale researcher and a guideline for practitioners. This study was conducted by the authors of the National Health and Wellness Administration of the United States (September 2016). Since the first edition in 1998, the reflection of the times, the refinement of the content, the revision of the reasons, the consideration of ethics, the connection between the cultural background and the importance of the times. This study aims to improve the understanding of the Japanese and American versions of the survey results. The MNFCR Board of Directors agreement was revised in the fall of 2016 to obtain the latest MNFCR license. In March 2017, the booklet titled "Ethical Thinking and Practice for Parent and Family Life Educators" was published. In the past 20 years, the company has grown up and matured, and the Japanese version of the company has become the foundation for the company's development. For example, the book is related to the association, family education, family education, etc.
