本年度は、動詞su/si/s-(以下suと省略)を含む構文(1)〜(3)の詳細な統語・意味・形態・音韻分析を行ない、下記の結論を得た。(1)VN文:a.警察がその事件を調査した。b.ライトが点滅している。c.私は彼の発言に驚愕した。(2)"VN名詞句+軽動詞su"構文:警察がその事件の調査をした。(3)"副詞+軽動詞su"構文:a.ライトがピカピカしている。b.私は彼の発言にびっくりした。1.これまで一般的に名詞であると考えられてきたverbal noun(VN)と呼ばれるクラスの語彙(e.g.調査,研究)は、実は動詞である。(1)はそのVNを主動詞とする文であり、普通の動詞を主動詞とする文(「警察がその事件を調べた。」)と全く同じ統語構造を持つ。VNと普通動詞の違いは、前者が自由形態素(単独でprosodic word(PW)を形成しなければならない)であるのに対して、後者が拘束形態素(単独ではPWを形成できない)であることである。これら2種類の動詞の、この音韻的性質の違いにより、普通動詞が使われる環境で代わりにVNを用いると、VNの直後にsu挿入が要求される。このsuは、音韻構造を整えるために挿入される統語・意味的には空虚な動詞(dummy verb)である。2.(2)は、軽動詞suを主動詞とし、そのsuをVN名詞句が修飾することにより一種の複合述語が形成される構文である。従って(1)と(2)は基底構造を共有する関係にはない。3.(3)は表面の形は(1)に近いが、実は(2)と同じ軽動詞構文である。主動詞は軽動詞suであり、そのsuをオノマトペ副詞が修飾している。(2)が主語にAgentを必要とするのに対して(3)が必要とせず、(2)ではsuの修飾語句が格を付与されるのに対して(3)でされないのは、suの外にある空動詞の性質による。4.これらの習得過程解明には発話記録の分析だけでなく、幼児の音韻知識を調べる実験が必要である。

VN common verb is opposite, the former is free morpheme (single word(PW)), the latter is bound morpheme (single word(PW)), the former is free morpheme (PW), the latter is bound morpheme (PW). 2. The nature of verbs, phonemes, etc. is contrary to the law. Common verbs are used in situations where VN is used. VN is used directly.このsuは、音位构造を整えるために挿入される统语·意味的には空虚な动词(dummy verb)である。2.
