本年度は、(1)以前からの研究課題である日本語の照応形自分の束縛条件の習得に関する研究と、(2)日本語のverbal-noun構文とそれに関連した構文の習得に関する研究の2つを同時進行で行なった。(1):新しい実験をデザインし、実行した。実験にはコントロール項目の他に、次の8種類のyes-no-疑問文と絵のペアを用いた。構成素統御条件テストAFx3(試行):文:Aは[BのC]で[自分のD]をVしてるかな?絵:自分=AAFx3:文:Aは[BのC]で[自分のD]をVしてるかな? 絵:自分=B主語指向性テストBT-sx3:文:AはBに[自分のC]をVしてるかな? 絵:自分=ABF-sx3:文:AはBに[自分のC]をVしてるかな? 絵:自分=BBT+sx3:文:BにAは[自分のC]をVしてるかな? 絵:自分=ABF+sx3:文:BにAは[自分のC]をVしてるかな? 絵:自分=B長距離束縛特性テストCM-sx3:文:Aは[Bが[自分のC]をVしてる]と思ってるかな? 絵:自分=ACM+sx3:文:Aは[[自分のC]をBがVしてる]と思ってるかな? 絵:自分=A3〜6才児を対象に実験を行なったところ、コントロールと構成素統御テストすべてに正しい判断を示した13人の中に、BTとBFにはすべて正解、CM-sに対してはすべて"no"(不正解)という反応パターンを示す被験者が3人存在した。この事実は、Katada(1991,"The LF Representation of Anaphors"in LI.)の予測に反して、自分の主語指向性の習得がその長距離束縛特性の十分条件ではないことを示唆している。(2):問題の諸構文に関して大人の文法の詳細な分析を行なった。又、『幼児のことは資料(1)〜(5)』(国立国語研究所,秀英出版,1981〜1983.)をコンピュータで検索する為の準備作業を行なった(データの入力と確認)。
