Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Erarbeitung einer neuen wissenschaftlichen Grammatik des Mittelhochdeutschen ("Lautlehre" [Schreibung und Lautung], Morphologie/Morphosyntax, Wortbildung und Syntax) auf der Basis eines Korpus zeit-räumlich authentischer Handschriften (Vers und Prosa) und Urkunden. Das Handschriften- und Urkundenkorpus wurde bereits ausgewählt, maschinell gespeichert und aufbereitet. Arbeitsschwerpunkte der jetzigen Förderungsphase sind die Erarbeitung der affixalen Wortbildung des Substantivs (unter Einbezug auch schon weiterer Wortarten) und die Erstellung von grammatishen Indizes zu einer ersten Hälfte der Korpustexte.
