1.研究分担者全員で、学術用語標準化の基本方針、作業の手順を検 討し、その概要を決めた。2.現在市販されている建築用語の用語集・辞典類のうちでもっとも語彙の多い辞典の見出し語(約3万2千語)と旧学術用語とを組合せた用語リストを、電算機を使って作成した。3.「建築構造」「建築一般構造」「建築材料・施工」「環境・建築設備」「建築計画」「建築史」「都市計画」「建築経済」の各専門分野ごとに、研究分担者を主査とし、それぞれの専門委員からなる8つの調査分科会を組織した。4. この調査分科会により、2の用語リストにない用語を見付け出し、追加採録する作業を開始した。
