今年度の研究課題は、1)〈他〉という概念契機の論理的分析、2)〈他者の存在〉という問題の問題論的解明(とくにフッサ-ルの〉間主観性〉理論の批判的再構成)という点にあった。この課題については、これらの論点を総括的に取り扱った論文「他なるものの時間」である程度果たすことができた。そこではまず、現代の他者論の多様な問題構成のいわば原型となっているフッサ-ルの現象学的間主観性論の構造を、関連文献(『デカルト的省察』および遺稿群)の読解を通じて再構成し、それが最終的に他者の時間的存在様態の問題に帰着することを明らかにした。その上で次に、「生き生きした現在」の分析を中心とするフッサ-ルの時間論とそれに関するヘルトの透徹した分析を参照しながら、自他関係の「共同現在」という時間的あり方を、現在の「純粋な到来性」という時間様態から解明することを試みた。他なるものの存在の時間的性格の解明は、他者と時間との関係をめぐるレヴィナスの議論の検討をさらに要求しているが、これは次の課題として残った。他者の存在をめぐる社会存在論点研究はまた、自他関係の具体的な局面(たとえば他人の匂いについての感覚や性的な他者についての意識)分析することによっても試みられ、その試論的な成果が論文「〈私〉の匂い」と「変換される身体」である。今後、本研究を推進するには、フッサ-ルの間主観性論をさらに深化させた現象学者メルロ=ポンティの他者論を検討する必要があるが、その作業は連載論文「メルロ=ポンティ研究の現在」という形で開始したばかりである。
