第13回国際比較内分泌会議開催に関する対応としては、国内組織委員会委員長・川島誠一郎、事務局長・菊山栄を決定、両者により班員中より実行委員メンバーを決定し、8月に東京で実行委員会を行い、上記メンバー以外の組織委員の構成、登録員の原案、国際会議運営の民間会社への委託等について協議した。また、会場の選択のため、実地調査は主として会長、事務局長が行い、横浜を第一候補とした。さらに、8月末に前橋で班会議を行い、各専門分野における注目すべきトピック及び研究者について、検討を行った。また同時に、比較内分泌学に対する関心と国際会議の気運を盛り上げるため、「比較内分泌研究と学会の関わり」について比較内分泌学会会員を交えて討論を行った。一方、組織委員長及び事務局長は、9月にスペイン(コルドバ)で行われたヨーロッパ比較内分泌学会に出席した機会にポスター・印刷物等によって国際会議への関心を呼び起こすとともに、主なヨーロッパ会員と接触し、協議を行い、協力を要請した。また、平成7年1月に東京において、国際会議のシミュレーションもかねて、ミニシンポジウム「脳下垂体・視床下部研究の新しい展開」を開催した。さらに本研究終了後も活動を続けるための策の一つとして、平成7年に比較内分泌学会20周年記念と銘打ってシンポジウムを開くための協議を、班員の中の数名により数回にわたって行い、10月静岡で3日間にわたり開催することを決定した。内容はホルモン分子、情報伝達、発生の分化の比較内分泌、生態と変態などで、発生学・行動・生態学・細胞生物学・分子生物学等との接点のあるテーマとした。一方、班員6名が、座長及び演者となって、シンポジウム「動物界における内分泌現象の進化と多様性」を甲府で平成7年11月に開催することも決定し、比較内分泌学の学問的意義を浸透させることにした。
