项目摘要

カント哲学の解釈は多岐に亘っている。自然科学的解釈や認識論的解釈がこれまでの主流だが、いずれも人間中心主義的解釈であったといえよう。私はこのような解釈傾向に抗して、カント哲学及び倫理学は神を不可避の課題とするものであるとの視座に立ち、神と人との型而上学的関係からカントの理論哲学及び実践哲学を促え直さんとする研究を行ってきた。私見によれば、特にこの関係の解明に資するのは最高善概念がカント哲学及び倫理学において果たす役割の究明である。従って本年度の研究は最高善概念の内容を的確に把握することを目的にした。尤もこの概念は西洋哲学史の広大な流れの中で幾多の変遷を経てきており、そのひとつひとつを拾い上げて連関づける作業はかなりの歳月を要すると思われたため、本年度はカント哲学及び倫理学の範囲に限定にてこれの意味内容を確定することにした。その成果として得られた事柄は、カントの最高善概念は、アンチノミーに陥らない「神の最高善」とそれに陥る「人間の最高善」のふたつに分かたれなければならないということと、ふたつの最高善概念は「幸福」に関して断絶しているが、「徳」に関して連続しているものであって、この連続の可能性を制約するのが「信仰」であるということであった。神と人間の間には「幸福」に関して絶対的な隔たりがあるが、人間は「徳」において「信仰」を介して神への接近の道が開かれるのである。徳と幸福との一致と定義される最高善概念は神に関しても人間に関しても語られうるが、しかし決して同等なものなのではなく、却って神と人間の絶対的質的差異を浮かび上がらせる役割を果しているものと思われる。私は本年度の成果を基にして目下神と人間の「幸福」に関する研究を前記の哲学史的研究と平行して行っており、その具体化を期している。
