Most of the early Christian documents (16 - 17c.) in Japanese are printed materials, and thus, their language are intentionally modified based on artificial linguistic norm. This research investigates the difference in the linguistic norms between the printed materials and the newly discovered hand-written ones, based on the comprehensive database, constructed by this research, of both the printed and hand-written Christian documents.The database has the transcription of the newly discovered codex of Tenri Library (Tenri, Nara), which has its source in the printed version of a Japanese translation of G.Loarte's "Instruicam e advertencias pera meditar a paixam de Christo nosso Redentor", or "Spiritual Xuguio" (in Japanese), now guarded in the Oo'ura Christian church (Nagasaki), together with the reference to the codex in Toyo Bunko (Komagome, Tokyo), which also has its source in the above mentioned printed version.The translation of Christian technical terms both in the codexes and the printed version are cross-checked upon the database, and the tendency of the codex Tenriense to incorporate the technical terms into Japanese has been lexically and statistically proved : the incorporation have been said to be refrained in the printed versions (in order to avoid apparent parallelism with the technical terms in Buddhist tradition), and that tendency had been attested also in the codex of Toyo Bunko by the research by the investigator of this research. This proves that the codex has established another linguistic norm, free from that of the printed versions.Apart from the research report, printed and distributed to the related researchers, part of the content of the database is planned to be published as on-line database in the internet.

早期的基督教文献（16 - 17c.）大多是日文印刷材料，因此，他们的语言是根据人为的语言规范故意修改的。本研究以本研究所建立的基督教文献印刷文献与手写文献的综合数据库为基础，探讨印刷文献与新发现的手写文献在语言规范上的差异。该数据库有新发现的天理图书馆（奈良天理）的抄本，其来源是G.Loarte的“instrumicam e advertencias pera meditar a paixam de Christo noso Redentor”的日文翻译的印刷版，或“精神旭日”（日文），现在保管于Oo'ura基督教教堂（长崎），以及参考东洋文库（东京Komagome）的抄本，其来源也在上述印刷版中。基督教专业术语的译法和印刷版都在数据库中进行了交叉检查，Tenriense手抄本将专业术语纳入日文的趋势已被词汇和统计证明：据说在印刷版本中没有将其合并（为了避免与佛教传统中的专业术语明显平行），而且这种倾向也在东洋文库的手抄本中得到了证明，这是由本研究的研究者进行的研究。这证明手抄本建立了另一种语言规范，不受印刷版本的影响。除了将研究报告打印并分发给相关研究人员外，该数据库的部分内容计划在互联网上作为在线数据库发布。
