1.超Kahler多様体の典型例として,del pezzo曲面からその非特異反標準因子kの正の有理数倍-ak(a≦1)となる非特異曲線をのぞいて得られるaffine曲面を研究し,a=1の場合とa<1の場合とで様子が一変することを見出した.特に,a=1の場合に,twistor空間の強い非代数性を証明した.一方,a<1の場合はtwistor空間は代数的で,特に a=1/2 の場合は古典的なEguchi-hanson計量であり,twistor空間の自然なコンパクト化がNagata多様体として実現できることは以前に示した通りである.2.この最後の例の一般化としてエルミート対称空間の余接束上のKronheimer-Biquardによる超kahler計量を考え,対応するtwistor空間の自然な代数的コンパクト化を群論的な手法で構成した.これはaffine対象空間のDe Concini-Procesiによる標準コンパクト化とも自然に関連し今後の研究の余地が大いにある.特に,後者により,境界が正規交叉のみをもつコンパクト化を構成し標準正則2形式の各境界成分における極の位数を超kahler多様体の不変量として決定することは今後に残された課題である.3.twistor空間内の複素twistor lineのなす空間は,もとのtwistor空間および超kahler多様対の重要な不変量である.本研究ではより一般的にLeBrun twistor空間内の複素twistor lineの空間の幾何学を,その上の自然な群作用と絡めて詳しく研究し,この空間の幾何学が予想通り実に豊富な内容を含んでいることを見いだした.
