A Study of Mongolian Lexicon in Qing Wen Jian Dictionaries.

《经文鉴》是18世纪主要在清朝时期编纂的满文词典的名称。《经文鉴》有多种类型，包括双语(满文-蒙文)、三文(满-蒙-汉)、四文(满-蒙-汉-藏)和pentalingual(Manchu-MongoLian-Chinese-Tibetan-Uigur).Qf。从蒙古语音系史的角度来看，1792年编纂的三文《经文鉴》是非常有意义的，因为每一个蒙古语项目(词)都伴随着它的满文和汉字的音标。它收录了大约13,500条，我们可以看到当时蒙古语单词的发音。五语本是条目数量最多的一本，收录了大约18,700条。在蒙古语词汇研究中，我们以《经文鉴》为材料，在《经文鉴》三语、五语音译的基础上，将蒙古语的拼音、满文、汉译、日文译文全部录入计算机。我们还对《兴文鉴》中出现的所有蒙古语词汇进行了索引，可以搜索任何带有满语、汉语和日语翻译的蒙古语词汇。

"Ching Wen Jian" is the name of Manchu dictionaries compiled during Ching dinasties mainly in 18th centuiy There are several kinds of Ching Wen Jians including bilingual Manch-Mongolian), trilingual(Manchu-Mongolian-Chinese), quaterlingual (Manchu-Mongolian-Chinise-Tibetan), and pentalingual(Manchu-MongoLian-Chinese-Tibetan-Uigur).Qf these, trilingual Ching Wen Jian compiled in 1792 is of great interest and significance from the point of view of Mongolian phonological history because every Mongolian item(word) is accompanied with its phonetic transcriptions in Manchu and Chinese characters. It contains approximately 13,500 items and we can see the pronunciation of the Mongolian words of those days.Pentalingual one is the largest Cheng Wen Jian in the number of items which contains around 18,700 entries. This is also valuable for Mongolian studies because it is the largest corpus of Mongolian vocabulary in the history of Mongolian language.In our research of Mongolian vocabulary, we have taken as materials the trilingual and pentalingual Ching Wen Jians, have inputted into computer all the Mongolian items in romanized transcription on the basis of phonetic transcriptions of trilingual Ching Wen Jian, as well as Manchu, Chinese, and Japanese translations. And we have made an index of all the Mongolian words which appears in trilingual and pentalingual dhing Wen Jians, with which we can search any Mongolian word with Manchu, Chinese, and Japanese translations.
