平成15年度は研究目的にそって18-19世紀の文献資料の発掘と分析を行なった。その研究結果を論文投稿と学会発表などにより、日本語と韓国語の変遷に関する研究の発展に資した。文献資料の収集は、東京大学の「小倉文庫本」を中心に行ない、これまでほとんど分析が進まなかった、19世紀末頃の日本人と西洋人によって編纂された韓国語学習書などを多く調査した。なお、韓国での資料収集も行った。平成15年度に収集した資料のうち、特に東京大学総合図書館書庫に収められた「鷄林文訳』は1798年に桂川甫周により著されたもので、東大本が唯一本であり、これまで報告されていなかった。この文献は18世紀末の韓国語の音声的特徴をよく反映しており、資料的価値が高い。この資料については「東京大学言語学論集」22に分析と影印を載せた。なお、日本語をハングルで記録している文献の分析により、江戸初期における日本語の清濁の音韻論曲性質は鼻音性の対立であったことを論じ、また15世紀から18世紀における濁音の鼻音性の変遷過程の分析を行なった。また、韓国語を仮名で記録している文献の分析を通し、中期・近代韓国語の母音の変遷過程に関して通説とは異なる説を提示し、この論文を韓国の学会で発表と投稿を行った。16年度は15年度に収集した文献の分析を通して、19世紀における日本語と韓国語の変遷および両言語の互に及ぼした影響などの分析を進める。

The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the literature data of the 18th and 19th centuries. The research results are submitted to the Society for submission, Japanese and Korean language translation and research development. An analysis of the literature on Japanese voice-over phonemes in the early period of the Yangtze River; an analysis of the process of the nasal transition of voice-over phonemes in the 15th century to the 18th century; The Korean language is recorded in the literature, and the process of vowel transition in the middle and modern Korean languages is discussed.
