项目摘要

少子化と女性の階層的地位を総括的に把握するために、本年度は、以下の研究を行った。本年度は3年計画の最終年度であり、2004年10月から12月にかけて、長野県中信地域で行った郵送調査の基礎集計をもとに、研究発表ならびに論文、報告書の執筆を行い、本研究を総合的に完成させた。さらに社会や地域に貢献するために、その成果を広く公表した。4月から9月にかけて、郵送調査の集計結果をもとに、研究発表ならびに論文執筆のための構想を練った。その成果は『社会学評論』第56巻2号、『中央公論』6月号に掲載された。また本研究の成果として昨年度刊行された『子どもが減って何が悪いか!』(筑摩書房,2004)が各種書評で取り上げられ、話題となった。その結果、家族問題研究会シンポジウム(7月2日)、社会政策研究ネットワーク(SPSN)・シンポジウム(7月9日)、メディア情報検証学術研究会(12月3日)、北海道の少子高齢化と地域社会を考えるシンポジウム(主催・北海道開発協会、12月17日)などに登壇・講演し、他の研究者と広く意見交換を行った。10月22日に、第78回日本社会学会大会(法政大学)にて「長野県中信地域における少子化の要因と意識構造」という自由報告を行った。平成16年度に実施された調査票調査の結果を分析したものである。1月から3月にかけて、調査票調査の結果をもとに、それまでの3年間の研究を踏まえて、研究成果報告書を作成し、刊行した。この成果をPDF化してホームページに掲載するとともに、希望する人への配布を行い、研究成果を広く地域と社会に還元した。
