本研究は、日本社会を生きる「中国帰国者」を対象として過去の歴史の記憶、現在に置かれる社会状況の両面から「中国帰国者」に関する総合的研究を行うことを目的である。本年(平成18)度は、昨年度での調査結果を踏まえた上、日本国内での補足調査と、中国東北地区での現地調査を行なってきた。日本国内では、昨年の調査に続いて長野県をフィールド調査地として、長野県立歴史館・飯田市歴史研究所などでの資料収集、そして旧満蒙開拓団の慰霊祭・集会などへの参加、および集団引揚者(7人)、残留婦人(5人)、残留孤児(6人)、計18人に聞き取り調査を実施した。中国東北地区での調査は、黒竜江省延寿県・方正県を中心に日本で調査対象者となった残留婦人・残留孤児たちを記録した「档案」の収集と、省・市・県といったレベルの図書館、歴史博物館および档案館で旧満蒙開拓団および中国残留婦人・残留孤児に関連する資料と書籍の収集、そしてかつて中国帰国者が生活した町、村にて現地調査を行なった。以上のように、本年度は、上記の研究課題に基づき、日本と中国においてフィールド調査を行なってきた。それらのフィールド調査地から収集したインタビューや資料などを用いて、以下で記入したとおり二つの論稿をまとめることができ、また研究会での報告を行って来た。単著書(1)『王道楽土の悪夢-満洲愛国信濃村残留孤児達の家族史(仮)』三重大学出版会(2007年8月出版予定、原稿を受理されている)共著書(2)「満洲開拓・中国残留日本人の記憶」『中国残留孤児、婦人の生きられた世界-「満洲」を生きつづける(仮)』勉誠出版(2007年10月出版予定、原稿を受理されている)学会発表近現代史研究会、「長野県における旧満蒙開拓団の戦後」、口頭発表、2006年4月20日

This study aims to conduct a comprehensive study on the development of Japanese society and the relationship between the memory of the past and the present and the social conditions of Japan and China. This year's (Heisei 18) annual survey results were reviewed, complementary surveys were conducted in Japan, and local surveys were conducted in Northeast China. In Japan, the survey was conducted in the Nagano Prefectural Historical Museum and Iida City History Research Institute in the past year.
