イオン結晶、溶融塩、および超イオン導電体の2 元系および3 元系において、理論および分子動力学シミュレーションによって、主に構造の変化およびイオン伝導度を含む輸送現象に関する研究を行った。イオンが受ける二体ポテンシャルの他のイオンからの遮蔽効果の影響を考慮し、遮蔽されたポテンシャルを求め、イオン伝導度、融点近傍の融解前駆現象、さらに光学的性質等について考察した。
