近代日本における買売春は,江戸時代後期に成立した公娼制度を基盤とし,明治期から戦後の売春防止法成立(1956年)まで,国家公認の制度として管理/保護され、存続してきた。本研究は、戦前期の日本における買売春を主目的とした人身売買問題の実態と社会的構築過程を,社会史的アプローチによって解明しようとするものである.具体的には,昭和初期に社会問題化した東北農村の「娘身売り」問題に焦点をあて,当時の統計データと新聞報道の分析を行なった.

In modern Japan, the foundation of the public prostitution system was established in the late Edo period, and the Spring Prevention Act was established in the Meiji period (1956), and the system was recognized by the state for management and protection. This study focuses on the social construction process and the social history of Japan. Specific, early Zhaohe social problems in the Northeast rural areas of the "women's body" problem focus on the analysis of news reports at that time.
