The craft of the Meiji era period played a major role to the modernization of Japan in two respects such as the encouragement of new industrys and Japan sending for the world. The national industrial exhibition at the first term of the Meiji era pressed the development of the craft, and showed the situation of the craft at that time.In the previous work, work information has been accumulated by the catalog of exhibits etc.Works were collected from the Denseihin material and the photograph material, etc. in the present study.I made records that Tokyo National Museum at that time had collected data, and made basic material to show a diversified modern craft image.

明治时期的工艺对日本的近代化起了重要作用，主要表现在两个方面：一是对新兴产业的鼓励，二是日本走向世界。明治初期的全国工业展览会推动了工艺的发展，展示了当时的工艺状况。在以前的工作中，通过展品目录等积累了作品信息。本研究从传播品资料和照片资料等收集了作品。我记录了当时的东京国立博物馆收集的数据，并制作了基本材料，展现了多元化的现代工艺形象。
