キシロシルパクリタキセル(xyl-PA)をハプテンとして用い、常法により免疫原の調製、免疫感作、細胞融合を試みた結果、1種の抗PA MAbの作製に成功した。本抗体は、PAのみならずPA関連化合物であるドセタキセルに対し71%、xyl-PAに対し32%、セファロマニンに対して6.2%の交差反応性を示した。続いて、本抗体を用いて15~250 ng/mlの検量域を有する競合的システムによるEnzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)を構築し、PA様化合物のスクリーニングに有用な手法であることを確認した。
