血液型を間違えた輸血(異型輸血)を施行すると溶血を起こし死にまで至る。1989年から当大学当科では血液型の異なる腎臓移植を施行してきた。1990 年代後半より開発された免疫抑制剤はいまやこのような難解な移植をもほぼ100%近い成績にまで達成させている。しかし今も昔もどのようにしてこれらの血液型の異なる腎臓がレシピエントに許容され長い間優れた腎臓の機能を発揮させることができるのか、不明な点は少なくない。この研究は血液型不適合移植における免疫的な機序の解明を目的とした。

Blood transfusion (heterotypic transfusion) is carried out from the beginning to the end. In 1989, when the university was in charge of blood type, kidney transplantation was carried out. In the late 1990s, immunosuppressive agents were developed and transplanted to nearly 100% of the population. In the past, the blood type of the kidney was different, and the function of the kidney was different. The aim of this study is to clarify the mechanism of immunity when blood type is not suitable for transplantation.
