This study focuses on the rural homeless who are in the Tohoku region in Japan to analyze the current state of the extreme poverty in a Japanese city in relation to "locality". The findings show that, with the decline of the family's role as a buffer to destitution, the people who had been working away from hometown (e.g. the working style are called the "Dekasegi") have found the loss of the safe place to stay when they had returned. And the situation leads directly or indirectly to the reason why they entered the homelessness.

本研究以日本东北地区的农村无家可归者为研究对象，从“地方性”的角度分析日本城市的极端贫困现状。调查结果表明，随着家庭作为贫困缓冲区的作用减弱，那些远离家乡工作的人（例如这种工作方式被称为“Dekasegi”）发现失去了安全的住所当他们回来时。而这种状况直接或间接地导致了他们进入无家可归状态的原因。
