加速器から出されるチェレンコフ・トリガに同期させる形で高周波ロングパルスを出力する高周波系を構築し、さらに、大型の試料(Φ6×20 mm)を固定して超音波を励起し、試料部分にのみミュオンビームを当てるための高周波実験に対応した特殊なプローブを完成させた。次のステップとして、試料をプローブにセットした状態でヘリウム冷凍機で冷却試験を行い、ヘリウム温度での超音波印加を確認し、実際の測定を試験的に行った。崩壊ミュオンを効率的に試料内部に入れてS/N比の高い測定が可能であることを実証した。
