結晶化に向けてメタノール資化酵母によるモルモット由来ロイコトリエンB_4(LTB_4)受容体(BLT1)の大量発現系構築を行った。100種類を超える変異体実験の結果、特にアミノ酸残基1-14番欠損体/Ser309リン酸化部位変異体(dN15/S309A)の^3H-LTB_4親和性は、Kd=7.6nM,Bmax=57.5pmol/mgであり、生体組織中のBLT1の親和性と同程度であった。1L培養スケールで180・gの精製サンプルを調製した。SDS-PAGEでの分子量は約40kDであるが、ゲルろ過では分子量約100kDであり、二量体で精製されていることになる。
