项目摘要

本年度には、以下の2つの研究を行った。(1) 構造変化の検定に関する研究時系列モデルにおいて構造変化の検定を行う際には、誤差項の長期分散の推定を行う必要があり、ここでの長期分散の推定に付随した問題があることが知られている。具体的には、長期分散を帰無仮説の下で推定した場合には、「検出力の非単調性問題」が生じ、一方、長期分散を対立仮説の下で推定した場合には、検定のサイズが歪むという問題がある。本研究では、Juhl and Xiao (2009)により提唱された方法をさらに修正し、検定のサイズが良好で、かつ単調な検出力を持つ検定方法を考案した。シミュレーションを行った結果、本研究で提案した検定は優れた有限標本特性を持つことが分かった。(2) パネルデータモデルにおけるクロスセクション間の相関の検定に関する研究クロスセクション間の相関の検定は、先行研究で数多く提案されているが、多くのものは誤差項の系列相関が考慮されていない。誤差項の系列相関を考慮した検定についても、先行研究の方法では、クロスセクションの相関の平均が0に近いときに検出力を持たない。そこで本研究では、誤差項に系列相関があるときにも用いることができ、かつクロスセクションの相関の平均が0に近いときにも検出力を持つ検定方法を提案した。具体的には、Fan et al. (2015)の"power enhancement" techniqueの考え方を基にして、検定統計量を改善することにより、検出力の改善を図った。シミュレーションを行い、検定の有限標本特性を調べた結果、本研究で提案した検定は、サイズが良好であり、既存の方法よりも優れた検出力を持つことが分かった。

This year, the following two research projects were carried out. (1)The estimation of the long-term dispersion of the error term is necessary to solve the problem of the long-term dispersion.
