精嚢抽出液の添加により前立腺癌細胞の浸潤能の顕著な亢進が認められ,この現象が精嚢抽出液中のTGFβによるuPAの発現誘導によるものであることを証明した.また,前立腺癌におけるuPA/uPA receptor systemが,根治的前立腺全摘除術施行後の予後に重要な役割を果たすことを明らかにした.
This phenomenon was demonstrated by the induction of TGFβ and uPA in semen aspirate. The uPA/uPA receptor system is important for radical anterior adenectomy.
