项目摘要

本年度は、研究最終年度であるが、「研究目的」(2)、「実施計画」3の観点から、継続して近世フランスの外務卿府における外交書簡文書にかんする包括的な文献史料の調査と渉猟を行いつつ、論稿執筆の準備を行なった。本年はとくに、17世紀初期から中期にかけてのフランス初期外交問題と、17世紀から18世紀への世紀転換期にかけての外交政策に関する調査と分析を行なった。2011年3月に、フランス現地にて約1週間、フランス国立図書館及びフランス国立古文書館、ポンピドーセンター図書館所蔵の史料調査と研究文献調査を敢行した。すでに史料の時系列、地域別、内容別の分類・整理に着手していたが、その作業を継続して行い、データの集成を図りつつ、図表・グラフの作成をすすめている。個別の分析としては、17世紀前期から中期にかけて、T・ルノードーによって創刊されたフランス最初の新聞『ガゼット』と当時のフランス外務卿府との関わりについて、当時のアカデミー等の文化行政と知識社会・知識人の状況、さらには当時の科学・哲学・宗教思想等の背景などから考察を行なった。また18世紀への世紀転換期については、当時の外務卿コルベール・ド・トルシー時代の外交問題に関して考察をすすめた。とりわけ1685年ナント勅令の廃止以降、いわゆる「ヨーロッパ精神の危機」の時代のヨーロッパ外交政策・理念の問題を、最近の研究書を手がかりにしながら検討した。最終年度にあたり、これまでの調査・分析の総括的な整理と考察の段階に入り、具体的な個々の研究課題と全体の研究課題の絞り込みを行ない、研究報告書執筆に向けての準備やタイムスケジュールの設定のプランづくりを検討した。
