Characteristic changes in endothelial function by administration of NO synthase inhibitor during placental formation

结果发现，在大鼠妊娠早期给予NOS抑制剂L-NAME可引起高血压。血压升高，而出生体重在L-NAME治疗的大鼠比盐水治疗的大鼠更小。乙酰胆碱（ACh）诱导的子宫动脉内皮细胞一氧化氮（NO）的产生较高，虽然ACh诱导的活性氧产生类似的L-NAME治疗的大鼠。提示L-NAME可增加子宫动脉内皮NO的生成，对子宫动脉内皮高血压的发生具有保护作用。

It is found that administration of the NOS inhibitor L-NAME at early pregnancy developed hypertension in rat. Blood pressure was increasing, while birth body weight was smaller in L-NAME-treated rats than in saline-treated rats. Acetylcholine (ACh)-induced endothelial nitric oxide (NO) production in uterine artery was higher, although ACh-induced reactive oxygen species production was similar in L-NAME-treated rats. It is suggested that the increased endothelial NO production in uterine artery by administration of L-NAME may protect the development of hypertension in endothelium.
