项目摘要

本研究の目的は、カンボジアにおける初等教育開発の現状と課題を、教育の質の向上という観点を十分に考慮しながら明確にし、教育開発の在りかたを再考することである。本年度は、昨年度から引き続き、教育の質の向上に大きな影響を与えているもののひとつとして「教員の質」を重点的に取り上げ、初等教員養成カリキュラムの分析及び初等教員養成校である州教員養成校(Provincial Teacher Training College:PTTC)で行われている授業の参与観察等を通して、その現状と課題を把握しようと試みた。また、カンボジアの初等教育開発の歴史的展開を、「学校教育の導入と拡大(1958年以前)」、「学校教育の発展と崩壊(1958年から1979年)」、「学校教育の復興(1979年から1993年)」、「新政府樹立後の教育発展(1993年)」に大別し、それぞれの段階の詳細な描出・分析を行った。研究の結果、初等教員養成に関する課題は、教科指導法に対する認識の低さ、カリキュラムの記述の薄さ、教科指導法の「理論」と「実践」の組み立ての曖昧さ等を指摘することができた。これらの諸課題を克服していくこと(特に教科指導法を確立させていくこと)が、カンボジアの教員の指導力不足を解消させ、教科書の説明・暗記にのみ力が入れられているという学校現場における授業形態の改善、さらには生徒の学業成績の向上への一助となると考えられる。また、今まで体系的な研究がほとんどなされてこなかったカンボジアの初等教育開発の歴史をまとめたことには一定の意義があろう。初等教育に関する主要な指標の推移は徐々にではあるが「初等教育の完全普及」達成に向かって進展していることを表している。2010年代の初等教育開発は、そのために不可欠である良質な教育の提供がより重視されていくと考えられる。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the current situation and problems of primary education development, and to re-examine the current situation and problems of education development. This year, the quality of education has been greatly affected by the improvement of the quality of education, and the focus of "teachers 'quality" has been selected. The analysis of the development of primary teachers and the inspection of the participation of primary teachers in the Provincial Teacher Training College (PTTC) have been conducted. This paper discusses the development of the history of the development of elementary education, the introduction of school education before 1958, the development and collapse of school education from 1958 to 1979, the revival of school education from 1979 to 1993, and the development of education after the establishment of the new government in 1993. The results of the research, the problems related to the development of elementary teachers, the low level of understanding, the description of the teaching system, the ambiguity of the "theory" and "practice" of the teaching guidance method, etc. In order to overcome these problems, teachers 'lack of guidance should be eliminated, textbooks should be explained, and efforts should be made to improve teaching patterns on the spot, and students' academic performance should be improved. The study of the present system has certain significance in the history of primary education development. The main indicators of primary education have been gradually changed, and progress has been made towards the achievement of "complete popularization of primary education." The development of primary education in the 2010s should not be neglected. The provision of good quality education should be emphasized.
