This study, which focuses on Galen’s epistemology, physics and ethics in order to take a new look at the history of Greek philosophy ranging from the Classical through the Hellenistic and into his own period, engaged in the translation of Galen’s relevant works, and examined the kind of ideas from Plato, Aristotle, Hellenistic philosophy and his contemporary thought that Galen tackled in a summarizing or critical manner, so as to find the characteristic features of ancient approachdifferent from modern thought.

本研究以盖伦的认识论、物理学和伦理学为研究对象，以重新审视从古典哲学到希腊化哲学再到他本人所在时期的希腊哲学史，并对盖伦的相关著作进行了翻译，考察了盖伦对柏拉图、亚里士多德、希腊化哲学及其同时代思想中的思想进行了总结或批判，从而发现古代方法不同于现代思想的特征。
