The role of surfactant protein A in lung cancer progression and metastasis.

将人SP-A基因导入人肺腺癌细胞系，并在实验小鼠模型中检查SP-A过表达对癌症进展的体内作用。SP-A过表达细胞产生的肺肿瘤有; 1.减少肿瘤负荷和胸腔积液，2.浸润的巨噬细胞数量增加，3. M1巨噬细胞（抗肿瘤巨噬细胞）数量增加。SP-A可能通过调节宿主免疫反应而对肺癌的发展起保护作用。

Human SP-A gene was introduced into the human lung adenocarcinoma cell line, and in vivo effect of SP-A over-expression on cancer progression was examined in experimental mouse model. Lung tumor produced by SP-A over-expression cells had ; 1. less tumor burden and pleural effusion, 2. increased number of infiltrated macrophages, 3. increased number of M1 macrophages(anti-tumor macrophages). SP-A may have a protective role in lung cancer progression through modulating host immune response.
