A historical study of Indian theories of semantics

近年来新获得的文本来源鼓励我们重新考虑佛教语义学的历史和相关问题。目前的研究人员在梵文手稿的基础上编辑了婆罗门文本Nyayamanjari。作者Bhatta Jayanta对佛教理论进行了批判，从而为我们提供了很多信息。三篇文章，即《Nyayamanjari》的日文注释翻译，作为三年研究的主要成果发表在教员年刊上。在研究期刊等发表研究论文5篇，评论版1篇。

Textual sources newly available in recent years encourage us to reconsider the history of Buddhist semantics and related issues. The present researcher edited the Nyayamanjari, a Brahmanical text, on the basis of Sanskrit manuscripts. The author, Bhatta Jayanta, criticizes Buddhist theories and thus provides us with a lot of information. Three articles, i.e. annotated Japanese translations of the Nyayamanjari, are published in the faculty annual as the main results of the three-year research. Five research articles and one critical edition are also published in research journals, etc.
