项目摘要

The regional dispersion in regular and non-regular employment by women is examined using microdata of Japan in recent years. I find that regional dispersion is large in regular full-time employment by married women, and it is small for married women's non-regular employment or single women's employment. The participation in regular full-time employment is highest in the Northern Coastal region (Yamagata, Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui, Tottori, and Shimane prefectures). I also explore how the regional dispersion changed over time using the data from 1930 to present. The Northern Coastal region emerged to the highest participation area after 1955.

利用日本近年来的微观数据考察了女性正规就业和非正规就业的地区分布情况。笔者发现，已婚女性正规全职就业的地区分散性较大，已婚女性非正规就业或单身女性就业的地区分散性较小。北部沿海地区（山形县、新泻县、富山县、石川县、福井县、鸟取县和岛根县）的全职全职就业参与率最高。我还使用 1930 年至今的数据探讨了区域分散度如何随时间变化。 1955年后，北部沿海地区成为参与率最高的地区。
