项目摘要

本研究の目的は、新しい情報教育のあり方のモデルとして、地域と連携したフィールドミュージアムのデザインを提案することである。具体的には、現実の環境にCGや画像、映像などの情報を付加し提示する拡張現実(Augmented Reality 以下AR)技術を用い、学習者と地域が協働してフィールドミュージアムをデザインする。この活動は、現実の都市、地域、自然環境にAR技術によって歴史的画像、地域、自然環境についての様々な情報を埋め込むことで、現実の都市、地域、自然環境そのものをミュージアムにする試みある。このように学習者が自ら現実の環境に情報を付加し、共有することで新しい学習環境をデザイン可能である。本研究では、このような取り組みを通して、新しい情報教育のあり方について再考しモデルを提案する。平成26年度は、ARコンテンツをエンジニアでなくても容易にデザインできる環境を構築し、学習にも十分用いることを可能にした。具体的には、基本的な環境として、ARプラットフォームを用い、コンテンツを作るためにブログの記事やエクセルなどのファイルをAR用に変換容易なプログラムを作った。これにより、学習者がスマートフォンを通したフィールドミュージアムのデザインに専念できるようにした。これらの環境を利用して平成26年度は下記の3つの実践研究を行った。ひとつは、研究代表者が担当した横浜の町を舞台にしたフィールドムージアムの構築である。平成26年度は、横浜市と連携し、関東大震災で被害を受けた横浜の当時の写真や絵葉書を用いたAR体験を通して、災害時にどう対処すべきかを考えるツールを開発し、合計6回の実践を行った。ふたつめは、研究分担者の久保田が担当したフィリピンの大学間連携の実践である。日本とフィリピンの大学生間でARを活用したフィールドミュージアムのイメージを共有するため、日本人学生らが事前に制作したARコンテンツをフィリピンで実際に使った。これをもとに来年度の大学間連携によるARを活用したフィールドミュージアムの計画を具体化する。3つめは、研究分担者の岸と今野が担当したインドにおける実践である。事前調査として、岸と今野の授業でARコンテンツ制作の実践を行い、学生がフィールドミュージアム構築のためのARコンテンツを制作する際の課題点を明らかにし、その支援の方法について検討した。2つの大学における実践研究の結果、データ編集の必要性、公開を目的とした情報の扱い、相互参照ができる授業設計の3つの支援が必要であることがわかった。この研究結果は日本教育メディア学会の研究会にて発表した。その後、事前調査の知見を考慮して、3月にはインドでフィールドミュージアム構築のためのARコンテンツ制作を行った。実践に参加したのはインド人中学生17人と日本人大学生9名である。4つのフィールドサイト(ブッダガヤ市内、スジャータ村、ニーマ村、コンガリア村)でフィールド活動を行い、そこで収集したデータをもとに合計104のARコンテンツを制作した。本実践の成果は、平成27年度の日本教育工学会の研究会にて報告予定である。
