项目摘要

以下の当初研究計画を予定通り達成した。1)Full passive（例　さるがかえるに引っ張られた）Short passive（例　さるが引っ張られた）　Null subject passive（例　かえるに引っ張られた）の理解実験成果発表、2)Possessive full passive（例　さるがかえるに腕を引っ張られた） Possessive short passive（例　さるが腕を引っ張られた）　Possessive null subject passive（例　かえるに腕を引っ張られた）理解実験、3)(2)の成果発表、4)Adversative transitive passive（例　さるがかえるに窓を開けられた）の理解実験先行研究では、子どもはFull passiveの文理解に困難を示すことが分かっている。その理由として「ニ句への意味役割付与が困難さの要因」であると主張されてきたが、実験文Full passiveとShort passiveは文中名詞句の数が異なり、困難さの要因は名詞句の数である可能性を否定できない。そこで本実験ではこの可能性を検証するためNull subject passiveを用いて実験を実施した。その結果、Null subject passiveとShort passiveに正答率の差は見られず、Full passiveの成績が最も悪く、「二句そのものが活動動詞を伴う他動詞受身文の理解を妨げる要因である」という主張には再考の余地があることを示唆した。これを踏まえ、名詞句の数が受身文理解に与える影響を調べるためPossessive passiveとAdversative transitive passiveを用いてさらに実験を行なった。結果「日本語児の受身文理解の成績は名詞句の数が増えれば増えるほど悪くなる」という結果を得た。
