コロナ禍の中、研究の一番地である現地調査が出来ずに、これまでの研究内容の精査を進めていたが、年末のやや落ち着いた頃合いを見計らって、現資料保有者（相続者）のご理解の元、研究代表者ならびに研究分担者、記録用カメラマン等での現地調査（資料保管場所でもある故安齊重男宅内暗室）を行なった。その結果は予備調査で想定された現存フィルムおよび紙焼きプリント数は、概算値でも約10倍は越えることがわかり、その資料体の膨大さと貴重さを再確認した。その調査の結果を受け、２回目の調査は暗室内の資料体の配置の詳細な図式化のための、測量ならびに、それを元に暗室の十分の一模型の製作も行なった。また、2022年12月3日多摩美術大学アートアーカイヴセンター主催、シンポジウム「東野芳明再考」第１部において、研究代表者の小泉俊己が「シンポジウム（もの派とアーカイヴ）記録集公開について」のタイトルで登壇し、安齊重男の資料体を用いて講演した。
