2022年度は、ベンヤミンの初期思想と後期の複製技術論文との接点を検証する作業を主に進めた。具体的には、ベンヤミンの「翻訳者の使命」（1921）の隠れたモティーフをなす「想起（Erinnerung）」を、初期思想および後期思想との関連において考察した。まず、「翻訳者の使命」における「言語の補完への大いなる憧憬」という表現と、初期色彩論の鍵語のひとつである「アナムネーシス」との思想的関連を検証することにより、ベンヤミンの翻訳論を新プラトン主義受容という文脈に位置づけた。つづけて、原作・翻訳・純粋言語の関係をめぐるベンヤミンの考察が、初期言語論における事物の言語・人間の言語・神の言語との関係に対応していることを示したうえで、さらに、そこでの翻訳が、過ぎ去ったものを〈いま・ここ〉に召喚することで救済するという、後期ベンヤミンの歴史哲学における「追想（Eingedenken）」のモティーフを密かに予告しているという点を明らかにした。その成果は、学会発表「想起としての翻訳：ヴァルター・ベンヤミン「翻訳者の使命」再考」（表象文化論学会第16回大会）および招待講演「歴史のポストヒューマニティ：ベンヤミンの思想から」（立命館大学国際言語文化研究所連続講座「人間と人間でないものの相互作用」）として発表した。また、関連する成果として、ゴダールの映画作品とベンヤミンの思想との方法論的な類似性について検証した論文「ゴダールにおけるいくつかのベンヤミン的モティーフについて」、およびアドルノの文化産業論をベンヤミンの複製技術論文にたいする批判的応答として読み解いた「文化産業：文化と産業の相剋」を発表した。
