项目摘要

本年度はまず、「21世紀出生児縦断調査」（厚生労働省・文部科学省）、「国民生活基礎調査」（厚生労働省）、「国勢調査」（総務省）などの調査票情報の二次利用申請手続きを進めた。実証分析として取り組んだ研究は以下の通りである。第1に、家計経済研究所と慶應義塾大学パネルデータ設計・解析センターが実施した「消費生活に関するパネル調査（JPSC）」を用いて、女性の離婚・再婚行動とそれらに伴う経済状況の経年的変化を検討した。その結果、離婚リスクと再婚機会の階層化、非正規雇用を中心とする女性の就労化は、近年ほど社会経済的に不利な離別女性の経済状況を悪化させるリスク要因として作用していることが示唆された。第2に、中高年期（40-64歳）に未婚に留まる人々の社会経済的属性と生活リスク（相対的貧困・社会保険未加入・ソーシャルサポートなど）との関連について、「生活と支え合いに関する調査」（国立社会保障・人口問題研究所）を用いた分析を行った。社会経済的に脆弱な層において中高年未婚者の割合は高く、中高年未婚者の相対的貧困率や生活困難度は離別者と同程度か、それに次いで高いことなどが明らかになった。それゆえ、中高年未婚者の増加という人口学的変化は、雇用・家族の生活保障機能が脆弱な現役層の人口規模を拡大させ、将来の公的社会保障の持続性にも甚大な影響を与えることが推測される。第3に、「出生動向基本調査」（国立社会保障・人口問題研究所）を用いて、若年未婚女性が抱くライフコースの選好の長期的趨勢を分析した。自身が理想とするライフコースと実際に歩むであろうと予期するライフコースとが一致する未婚女性の割合は過去30年間を通して35％前後でほぼ一定であり、依然として多くの未婚女性が自身が望むライフコースを実現できる見通しを持てていないことが明らかになった。

Demographic changes, employment, family life support function, vulnerability, active population size, and sustainability of public social protection in the future. Third,"Basic Survey of Birth Trends"(National Institute of Population and social protection), analysis of long-term trends in the selection of unmarried women. Unmarried women who have been married for the past 30 years have been married for 35% of the time, and many unmarried women who have been married for the past 30 years have been married for the past 35%.
