今年度は,代表色抽出における実用上の工夫,画面上の隣接色による分析,離散色分布の距離による分析,Van Goghの作品の時代ごとの変遷の分析を行なった.絵画の色彩分析における代表色数の判定基準について,絵画および代表色画像の構成色を数えさせる実験を行なって,代表色数20色以上という基準およびクラスタ偏差の最大値が1〜2程度という基準の2つを導いた.また,この基準に基づく逐次クラスタ化法の高速化や,面積は小さいが効果的に用いられるアクセント色が代表色として抽出されないことがある問題についての実用的な工夫を示した.この成果は,第29回日本色彩学会全国大会(平成10年5月,於名古屋)において発表した.画面上の色の配置を分析するため,画面を数個ないし数十個の長方形格子状に分割してモザイク画像を作り,モザイクの各区画について,隣り合う区画の色差を分析し,画家ごとの特徴を分析した.この成果は,第29回日本色彩学会全国大会(平成10年5月,於名古屋),およびOslo International Colour Conference(平成10年10月、於オスロ(ノルウエー))において発表した.絵画の構成色の色分布の類似度による分析を,昨年度に引き続き行なった.今年度は,離散色分布間の対応を線形計画問題のひとつである輸送問題ととらえることにより,離散分布間の距離を直接定義し,これを用いて絵画やデザイン画の分類を行ない,良好な結果を得た.この成果は,カラーフォーラムJAPAN'98(平成10年12月,於東京)において発表した.Vincent Van Gogh[1853-1890]の作品を,そのときどきの画家の居地に由来する5つの時代(Nuenen,Paris.Arles,Saint-Remy,Auvers)から30点選び,各時代ごとに色彩的特徴が現われるかどうかを調べ,時代に特有の特徴をいくつか見いだすことができた.この成果は,第29回日本色彩学会全国大会(平成10年5月,於名古屋)において発表した.これまでの研究の総括を,シンポジウム「人文科学における数量的分析(4)」(平成11年3月,於葉山)において報告する予定である.またこの他にも、第30回日本色彩学会全国大会(平成11年5月,於東京)において,研究の最新成果について発表する予定である.

This year, the representative color extraction is carried out with the above time, the adjacent color analysis on the screen, the distance analysis of the discrete color distribution, the analysis of the time transition of Van Gogh's works. In this year, the linear planning problem between discrete color distributions is directly defined by the distance between discrete color distributions, and good results are obtained. This achievement is reflected in the works of Vincent Van Gogh[1853-1890] published in JAPAN'98(December of Heisei 10, Tokyo). The origin of the painter's residence is 5 times (Nuenen,Paris.Arles,Saint-Remy,Auvers). 30 points are selected, and the characteristics of colors of each time are displayed. The 29th National Congress of the Japan Color Society (Nagoya, May 2010) was held. The summary of this research is contained in the "Quantitative Analysis of Humanities"(4)(March 1911, in Hayama). The 30th National Congress of the Japan Color Society (May 2011, Tokyo) was held in Tokyo.
