项目摘要

平成二十六年度特別研究員（DC2）としての主な研究活動として、学会での口頭発表を五回行った。以下個々の発表内容について説明する。まずカントとゲーテにおけるライプニッツの「自然の連続律」の受容を論じ、両者の自然学における連続性の問題を考察した。この研究により、ベンヤミンによるカントとゲーテの自然認識論のモデルの批判的受容という観点からベンヤミンのモナドロジー的思考を考察することが可能となり、本研究課題の重要な基盤を築くことができた。上記の研究を踏まえて、ゲーテの形態学とベンヤミンの歴史哲学の構想の源泉としてライプニッツのモナドロジーを考察した。とりわけゲーテがライプニッツの「エンテレケイア」および「力」の概念によって、機械論的な自然観に還元されない目的論的な観点を含んだ自然学を発想したこと、そしてベンヤミンによってゲーテの形態学が再解釈される過程で、ライプニッツのモナドにおける時間表出の構造が強調され、歴史哲学へと発展したことを明らかにした。またベンヤミンとプルーストの幼年期をめぐる自伝的作品を考察した。ベンヤミンの『ベルリンの幼年時代』が、プルーストの『失われた時を求めて』に関するエッセイと緊密な関係にあることに着目し、両者の記憶論における身体的知覚や無意識の意義を検証した。それにより、前期ベンヤミンのモナドロジー受容とそこに胚胎していた無意識の問題系を、後期ベンヤミンの記憶や時間をめぐる著作と接続する可能性が示された。さらに前期ベンヤミンのカント批判とライプニッツ受容から導き出された、明晰判明な意識表象（統覚）を伴わない無意識的表象に積極的な意義を認める認識論の観点から、後期ベンヤミンの複製技術論文における「触覚」の概念を解釈した。これにより、前期から後期にかけてのベンヤミンの認識論の展開におけるライプニッツのモナドロジーの意義が具体的に示された。
