Gerard Manley Hopkins was a major Victorian writer, whose works were edited piecemeal through the latter half of the twentieth century. We propose to collect all the extant papers together and publish them in eight volumes (some facsimile), edited by an international team of experts. All texts will be checked where possible against originals and presented with introductions and annotation based on the editorial team's long familiarity with the past century's research.
