The division of Research Administration provides support for the research programs and infrastructure at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute and is responsible, with Senior Leadership, for maintaining the requirements of the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) and related activities. Key Research Administration staff participate in research policy matters, strategic planning, the financial oversight of the research enterprise and support for key scientific committees (Scientific Leadership Council, Scientific Advisory Council, Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee, as well as and various advisory groups for shared resources). The Research Administration management structure consists of six directors and 11 managers who together are responsible for approximately 60 centralized research-services staff (pre and post award grant management, laboratory facilities and safety functions, clinical research administration and financial services related to research) 16 shared resources and related functions with135 staff members and approximately 200 additional employees, most of whom are grant funded and provide technical or administrative support directly to the scientific programs and their faculty members.
