We are requesting funds to replace an aging camera system that helps us to record and publish work on specimens using brightfield and fluorescence microscopy. Our microscope and specialized light sources are in good shape, however the imaging equipment has outlived its expected lifespan and needs to be replaced. The instruments required are: a digital video camera that is sensitive for low level light applications and adapted for microscope use; an image capture system; and modern image processing software.
