项目摘要
Molybdenum coating of industrial equipment parts reduces wear and corrosion of such parts, thus extending life, increasing performance, and saving time, energy and money. Molybdenum coatings also have other applications, for instance as catalysts in the petroleum industry. UBC scientists have discovered a novel method for coating molydenum onto metal substrates using electroplating, which is much simpler and cheaper than existing methods. This proposed activities are to perform a Market Assessment of the industrial coatings market to identify opportunities and challenges, and to inform the commercialization strategy for this technology.
