The Crystal Growth Laboratory at University of Victoria currently has the need for a precision saw for sectioning large diameter materials. It is currently not possible to section large samples within the laboratory and no outside solutions exist for this service. Precision sectioning of the material is required for proper characterization in terms of the crystalline perfection and compositional uniformity.
